identification of American Bully
1. The American Bully breed is recognizable by its characteristic compact, strong, thick-set structure and build. Their appearance reflects a strong American Pit Bull Terrier foundation, blended with stock from other bull breeds.
2. American Bullies will do okay in an apartment if it is sufficiently exercised. They are very active indoors and will do alright without a yard provided they get enough exercise. Prefer warm climates.
3. The smooth, short-haired coat is easy to groom. Brush on a regular basis with a firm bristle brush, and bathe or dry shampoo as necessary. A rub with a piece of toweling or chamois will make the coat gleam. This breed is an average shedder
4. The American Bully breed was established in the mid-1990s with the purpose of creating the ultimate family companion. The American Bully was created through years of selective breeding by combining the desired traits of the UKC American Pit Bull Terrier and the AKC American Staffordshire Terrier. Some lines have added other bully breeds into the mix and sometimes non bully breeds. The American Bully's origins can be seen both on the East and West Coast of the United States, primarily in Virginia and Los Angeles, California and is spreading to all parts of the U.S. Today the American Bully can also be seen in Europe and Asia. The American Bully, also called the Bully Pit, Bullypit and the Bully Pitbull, is often confused with the American Pitbull Terrier but is clearly a different breed.
5. This we would understand that fawn (a light brown), red (not the red nose red), or whichever other type of brown tone in respect to the pigmentation would fit into this category in order to distinguish between fawn and blue fawn. Fawn dogs are common and usually have a black nose with eyes and eyelids very noticeably pigmented. On a few occasions it is easy to see an individual dog (even more in dogs of a strong tone) a type of 'mascara' and honey or dark colored eyes.
6. The red nose, as everyone knows, comes from APBT heritage. They are dogs whose pigmentation make up a family and without a doubt they are the only ones with this peculiar aspect.
7. The American Bully exists as a family member of the American Pit Bull Terrier which has maintained its unique reputation over the course of a century. This breed exists as a result of a series of crosses between breeds over the years.
8. The Standard American Bully is a compact and either medium or large sized dog. Its head is very blocky with a muscular body. This Bully gives an overall impression of strength and confidence. Males are typically 17”-20” while females are 16”-19”. These Bullies live 10-12 years.
9. Everyone loves puppies! And as we’ve established, American Bully Puppies are a bit more challenging than the adults to train and raise. They’re typically naughtier than your usual toddler and are extremely curious- getting into trouble at all times.
10. It is a must to ensure that American Bully receives proper health care and nutrition. As early as eight weeks, you need to subject your puppy to vaccination to ensure proper growth and development.
